I believe the comment in Freddie Dixon’s book of him being the only man to have won the TT on 2, 3 and 4 wheels is a bit of misrepresentation as the four wheel one was only held in 1914 and 1922 in the IOM. I assumed it was the IOM on 4 wheels- Scroll down to see Dixon’s name for 1935 and 6 for the Ards circuit which was /is in Dundonald, County Down, N Ireland :
