I used duplicate color that was the closest to hunter green as I could find.

That is a nice green, wonder what it is.

There are thousands and thousands of colors to choose from. It’s so hard to find the right one, also costly.

I understand, the problem is that you can’t buy a spray can of British racing green. There’s hunter and others but no BRG that I can find on Google.

I bought the duplicate color because it said this is the closest to BRG.

Here what I found. If you look at the definition of BRG, Wikipedia says Hunter Green is close.

Here are three Rustoleum colors of Hunter Green. I’ll probably have my bike professionally painted, but I’m doing this to be sure of the color.

    Thoughts?

Ah, I see. I've no experience with the color personally but it is hotly debated and hard to nail down.

Most pro painters could match the exact color of the bike above, so don't count it out if your test is a dud.

That is, if you even like it! Hah

    This is pretty close

Im going to give it a try, if I can’t get a decent match, I’m back to red.

This is metallic so it’s the wrong paint, but the shade may be correct and I sort of like the green as a concept.

Paint the tail green and you would have Santa PR sled.

I may paint the tail green just to see how it looks.

Hard to see the real color but the accent, Silver or Gold will make the metallic pop.

Just playing…. I painted an old set of HD tank candy emerald green once and flaked them.... Weren't my cup of tea, but the guy that bought the garbage sure was in love with it. They weren't 100% and he rode around for years with them as is. I denied having anything to do with it.

Had a gold base and had taped off some stripes for airbrushing in some other colors and lost interest. He wanted the unfinished, hideous to me, set. Left gas, right oil, and big front mudguard which came off a servi-car I started chopping( 45 meter maid)….. Life before Norton.
