What's in the big tube? fuel or air?

Jean, Air and the top mount for the shocker.

Rohan, the project is still incomplete, however all the motor needs is a set of chambers, the Krober fitted, one piston replaced, carbs played with, and the kick starter hole blocked up, and it would be a goer. THere are still minor problems with the seat and tank mounts. What I need is a new burst of enthusiasm. Do you know what the British mean when they call something 'a folly' ?

Yes, its a 'little' castle you build down the bottom of the garden.
Good for nothing, but fun to do.

Got a few of em myself. !
Fun, aren't they....

That looks like it would make an interesting bike when you get it all done.
Did it come from anyone in particular ?

The easiest way to jig up a bike that I know of is to clamp both rims in a piece of "C" channel allowing for the rim width difference. Then proceed to build the bike while keeping the rims in exact line with each other. I did this on one where I was putting a Honda engine in an XT Yamaha frame and it worked perfectly. In the end when you take it off the C channel the wheels are lined up on the center line along with the steering head and swing arm. The hardest part is getting the rear sprocket and front sprocket perfectly lined up.
