Fitting a DRL headlight, Help!

Great advice from all, many thanks. but one thing i picked up on. Riding with the Headlight on full beam is not a good idea as a DRL, use a dipped headlight. Full beam will dazzle even in the daytime and distract from the fact there is a Motorcycle behind that glare.
In my humble opinion, (and the opinion of my wonky left knee - a souvenir from a driver who didn't see me 20 years ago), it really doesn't matter whether it is a motorcycle, car, 18 wheeler, main battle tank, oil tanker, etc. behind that headlight - as long as you are seen.

Cars wait at intersections even if I am a 1/4 mile away, and oncoming traffic moves towards the shoulder - makes me smile every time. Never been cited for it either....

Sure, label me an a**hole, but I would sooner be an a**hole that gets home to his a**hole family at night than a "considerate" person who is laying in a hospital bed, or worse, a morgue.

But that is just me...

I installed a Nucleus YSD v28-H4 2 years ago .... Low 5000 LM / H 5000 LM .. It does a great job lighting up the road and never yet been flashed by oncoming traffic .. It comes with a molded plug that you remove and wire it up the same as the light you removed .

I had a good light for night driving ...... this one just makes a drivers ability to see me all that much better day and night ...... and better is safer . Considering the average weight of a car today is roughly 4000 lbs , a Norton is nowhere in the same weight category . Too many distractions for many of those behind the wheel today .. Coffee , snacks , phone and now half of them are puffing on a fat reefer .
