I'm hoping to get an "entry level" leather jacket as I am getting back in the saddle after more than 25 years. Looking for good value in a functional leather jacket without breaking my budget. I will post a link below to the jacket I think I will probably get.

Does anyone have experience with either FMC's jackets and/or the (RevZilla) vendor? Other recommendations are welcome but I am looking to stay within a $350 budget, so please bear that in mind.

Try to find a nice/good second hand one the best one (in my mind , I have two vanson jacket and a suit) are vanson ..........

There's a lot to be said for buying a good quality second hand quality jacket like Vanson. If cared for their jackets last forever, but the older models don't have armor. IMHO it doesnt make sense to give up the safety benefit of back, elbow and shoulder armor. Fabric jackets are a reasonable compromise, less protection than leather but lighter and usually more "ventable" for different temperatures. Some textile jackets are also rain proof/resistant. I wouldn't get a textile or leather jacket without armor. Nowadays we're spoilt for choice. I have a perforated Vanson with armor that I use in really hot weather. Otherwise textile with armor. In my experience Revzilla is a reputable seller but others may disagree.
