Hi there,
After three years that Calamity Jane demolished my motorbike and myself, the opposing insurance company made a payment proposal to me: 60,000 Euros or $ 70,000. I will accept this deal. The motorcycle was paid for separately.
I'll sell my Seeley Commando; $ 40,000 is a lot of money but it's justified, you will find all the history on the post "Rebuilt the Sunburst"
I have another project in sight, still secret for the moment.

Joke:
Two dogs are in the vet's waiting room, the first one tells that he grabbed the neighbour's little dog and that to punish him the vet is going to cut his balls.
The second dog, a Doberman tells, my mistress was naked in the garden and I did not resist, I did.
The first dog asks: are you going to cut your balls too?
- No, just cut my claws

Yves

Ditto on. Moving forward Yves, and congratulations on the insurance settlement.

Glad you’re able to draw a line under this and move on Yves. It’s not just the money, moving on is good for you.

Can‘t wait to find out about your secret project !
Hi Nigel,
The motorcycle I wish to buy is not a project; it is the MV Agusta Magni Italia, to me the most beautifull bike on the world, go on the web and you will find it

HI CJ
You must know that the situation with my hip is worster every day and keep me away from riding at the moment;
I hope to have a new hip in January and then I will do a Flosbury Flop over the bike
Yves

Yves,
I’d give the MV 6 months before it’s the worlds first SEELEY MV Agusta Magni Italia !!

Yves good luck with the new bike/project maybe find a bike that will be good for your hip and leg, the cafe style of bikes are great but trouble with lower injuries, when I ride I like to be as comfortable as I can and I do have a dicky knee and I like to clock up the miles when riding, all my bikes are set up for my comfort and can ride all day, something to think about, low clipons and full back rear sets look good but not good with lower injuries and the older we get the worst they get.
Anyway good luck with what ever you do to keep riding.

Ashley

Hi Ashley,
I will receive an artificial hip at January, I will put rise-up clipons on the Magni and maybe lower the rear sets like I did on the Seeley. I don plan to do trips from 500 miles/day

20 minutes sessions on a track day will be fine ;), but maybe don't ride the last session of the day!

My wife now has two replacement hips, no high jumps as yet!

A fella I work with had both of his hips replaced (at the same time no less), it has been about two years since his operation, but he can climb all over a Blackhawk now just like he used to do. So, I believe you will be able to get back to doing most if not all of the things that you want to.,,,,,,,,,,, P. S. I Googled the MV and it's a beauty for sure!!

I think that’s what he’s referring too.

Imagine how good it‘ll look, with a Seeley frame !!

Seriously, that has to be the best looking motorcycle that has been produced in a very long time.

But what is it with these artistic marketing types? That video spends more time showing us trees and valleys than the actual motorcycle FFS !!

Because they expect to sell mainly to people who aren't actually that interested in motorcycles, but have the money to put good art in their homes!
