Fausto Gresini RIP

Moto GP team boss Fausto Gresini has died aged 60 after a two month battle with Covid 19 in Bologa Italy.
He was a double world champion in the 125cc class in the 1980s.

People die when they stop riding their motorcycles. I will soon.

F. Gresini died after contacting the Covid virus for the second time, and was put under an inducted coma buy the doctors for the second time.
At 60 years old, it was sure not a nice way to end your life for two times World Champion and the present boss of a Moto GP racing team. Some of us die too early.

Another one gone rip

60 is too young to die, but many people do it even earlier. The main thing is to actually live while you are alive. Racing motorcyclists do that. You will live more in a 5 lap race than many other people do in 5 years.
It is no good getting old and having regrets. There was a 25 year period in my life when I did not race - I regret that. It is something I cannot change.
F. Gresini had his time and used it well. You cannot do more than that.
