I started an earlier thread about the saga with getting a good quality metal fastback tank. You all saw the before shots. Well, here are the shots from the painter…couldn’t be happier. I know the name Brent Budgore and The Vintage Vendor is familiar to so many Norton folks in this site, but I can’t stress what a great guy he is. Very thorough and thoughtful. I wanted the stripes and decals for this bike to be a nod to the Commando striping, but still flow and make sense for the Fastback body work. He nailed it. I think this is bike number 7 or 8 he’s done for me over the last several years. I’d love to hear your comments!

Beautiful, and the paint booth is pretty nice as well ;). Looking forward to seeing a more vintage take on the later Commando, it will be a looker for sure.

OT: Who can guess what car that dashboard over the window goes to?
