Fastback Tail to Roadster tank Fit

Checkout the Long Range Fastback seat available from Leighton in the UK.
It might be a close fit with a Roadster tank and you won't have to cut the knee pads off.
I bought one from Leighton years ago to fit with an Interstate tank and I had to trim an inch or so off the seat pan and then have the seat foam and cover trimmed to fit with the Interstate tank.
Also, Burton Bike Bits sells repo Fastback inner fenders.

This is a LR fastback seat pan paired with a HR fuel tank , I think the roadster tank is the same length for comparison?
This is the same pan with Interpol tank and a tailpiece that came from Ron Fratturelli ,don't know if it is original or pattern. But you can see it fits well.

While that addresses the widths of the seat frame rails....
Its the lengths of various seats, and tanks, that has not been addressed - anywhere ??

Now, if we could just assemble a table of tank lengths and seat lengths.
Naaaa, we are not that organised.....
I've seen various combos of various seats and tanks with fastback tailpieces that I wouldn't have thought possible.
Its obvious that owners are pretty good at having seats etc trimmed or altered to suit...

I will not be buying a Corbin seat for my bat bike as I feel it might be a bit on the careless side after reading this magazine article .
