Hi.
Does anyone know how to use the switch for reserve fuel.
The notes are confusing to me. Apologies if I'm as sharp as a bowling ball but I have the switch currently flashing with low fuel. I have turned it off.
The notes say ...." When approx 4 litres of fuel remains, the float switch closes, switches off the pump and illuminates the the reserve switch light. Operation of the switch re-activates the pump: after refuelling, the switch will stay illuminated until turned off."
So, if I was riding the bike and ran out to 4 litres remaining it says the pump would switch off. ( Handy! Wouldn't the bike stop? )
My question is which position do I leave the switch on with a full tank of fuel? Is it the position it is on now with the light flashing?
I'm confused obviously. Do I begin with depressing the left side of the switch ( which now turns off the flashing light ) when the tank is full? At the moment the bike has the light flashing as the switch is pushed to the right, but the bike won't start.
I would love to know the correct proceedure.
Clear as mud!
Cheers Hillbone.
