So I read this post a while back and it mentioned Suzuki exhaust gasket 14181-01D00 - some Norton tech digest said they were the best. Well, since that's a Suzuki GS1100E part and I have a couple of those bikes, I searched the pile and found a spare gasket. I put it on the left side and it has never come loose. The right side keeps coming loose on rides where I wind it out a bit. I forgot I had done that and started wondering if the right (timing) side vibrations had some weird Coriolis effect haha. I now have some more spares. Will be interesting to see if it stops the problem, will put one in before my next ride.  I found it odd that the only two bikes I currently own have this connection.
