Engine oil getting into primary case, MK3

Hello, My Engine oil getting into primary case, MK3.
Is there a main culprit engine oil in primary cases?
I have the cover off, plan on replacing the gasket between the two cases, crank seal.
What about the studs that hold the cases together, is that an area of leakage.
Ill put thread sealer when installing.

It could be the studs or more likely, the crank seal.

Thanks L.A.B. I haven't been on the forum in quite awhile after i restored the bike (2015) pre Covid, LOL, just been riding it, its held together well. The leak started about a year ago, i got tired of draining the primary and filling the engine oil.
Question... getting the crank seal out, sheet metal screws and pulling it out?

Any tricks getting the snap ring out in front of the crank seal?

Alls good, clip and crank seal is out. seal was hard and loose in the case.
