Electric start needle roller bearing

Hi team, question.
Should the electric start needle roller bearing 064711 be prepacked in grease or left to rely on oil from primary chaincase?

I've only oiled the needle bearing as I would expect that it gets adequate lubrication from the primary splash, the needle-bearing inner race having a spiral groove to feed the splashed oil to the needle roller as the inner race continues to rotate with the crankshaft after the needle roller inside the starter gear stops turning.

Probably another reason (in addition to the hydraulic tensioner) not to use less than the recommended quantity of oil in the Mk3 primary.

I use the level plug and that fills the primary over the recommended "200cc" but without problems.
