Hi.
The steering doesnt go to the end because the upper triples tree touchs against the body fairing bracket mounting.
Where is the mistake?
Tanks

No mistake. Same with the Production Racer.

You need to modify the steering stops or just let it tough the bracket at both sides steering lock.

It is worth modifying the steering stops to reduce the lock. If you get into the big tank slapper with the steering hitting the fairing, it is not good. If the steering bounces off the stops, you can let go of the bars and grab the tank until it straightens itself out. If it is hitting the fairing, everything becomes that much more uncertain.

On my bike, I mounted the yoke bracket on the bike without the fairing. Then I laid 2 rectangular bars of 5/16" x 5/16" x 4" steel on top of the yoke bracket so they both extended down in front of the frame's steering stop blocks. I scribed the marks for both bar's location onto the steering bracket. I removed the bracket from the bike and welded the steel bars in place on their marked locations. So now my fairing bracket has 2 pieces of steel that pertrude down in front of the steering stops to shorten the travel of the forks. The 2 pieces welded on the bracket also keep the bracket from twisting on the frame because they prevent to bracket from being able to twist on the yoke. After my first test ride, I did grind the bars back a bit to give my a little more travel. All of this is tedious to do, taking the bracket off and remounting it numerous times, but I supose it feeds my OCD.

There are two separate things - steering stops and fairing brackets. Steering stops need to be completely unmovable while the bike is being ridden. If you find yourself in a situation where you need full lock and it is not there . . . ? - If you get into a tank- slapper, your fairing bracket might jam the steering.

Dude, Your reading comprehension sucks...

The Dunstall fairing came with two parts to modify the steering stop so the fairing isn’t fouled. They work on the ‘71 and later triple clamps, and fit in the two small holes in the lower triple clamp either side of the steering stem. I believe I have a pair, if you like, I will put my hands on them and send a photograph. I can even have them re-produced if you like.
