Back in 2009 we went to a Norton rally in Mancos, Colorado. After riding on the roads here I knew this is where I wanted to retire, the roads are awesome and well taken care of. One of the rides we went on was a loop that went from Mancos to Durango up over two passes, Coal bank pass 10610 ft, Molas pass 10,910 ft. to Silverton then over Red mountain pass 11,014 ft. down to Ouray on to Ridgeway and back up by Telluride to Lizard Head pass 10,222 and then down to Rico, Delores and back to Mancos. 200 miles or so, well here we are retired 2 years now and these roads are still a blast to ride, a couple weeks ago did that same loop. What was great is there was no traffic (covid 19) and the conditions could not have been better, I really love these roads. I just need to grow up.
