At least a dozen more Trump supporters will have to be punched out by anti-Trumpers to equal all the violence that has been committed on anti-Trumpers by Trump supporters, so ease up on the Brownshirt stuff before you get brownshirt on your shirt. Good Democrats (like all good citizens) are going to stand back and stay out of idiot behavior perpetrated by either Trump supporters or Trump detractors. Meanwhile, the Donald himself continues to incite the rabble with his wild rants and thin-skinned "I know you are, but what am I?" brand of politics. A survey of US voters has apparently quoted that 47% wouldn't vote for either Clinton OR Trump.
Thats almost an outright majority already. !

That means the race is still very wide open to someone acceptable who can get their name on the ballot paper.

In case you haven't been paying attention, those examples you so RIGHTeously demand have been all over the news for months. Or did you just wake up to discover the shining light of Trump's lunacy? None of the tenets of the RIGHT (wing) have ever been proven to have positive results for most folks; tax cuts for the rich, deregulation to let the rich corporations and banks run wild, extreme military imperialism, racism, xenophobia, ALL have produced negative results. So please tell me, what's so right about the RIGHT? What is the RIGHT going to do beyond tongue-clicking expressions of moral indignation? That is, assuming a President Trump would even go along with their agenda? In truth, NOBODY knows what the Great Orange One would do if given the mandate. My guess is something completely stupid. And possibly irreversible.
 
I'm free market Libertarian and I regard most Republican politicians as "me too" socialists who, with Democrats disrespect property rights. I am not a slave, I own myself, and I own and have the liberty to dispose of all the products of my hands my back and my mind. Socialists of course do not believe in that principal; they believe that they can take anything and everything from me by mere majority rule.


I see Democrats and Republicans as being co-actors in the welfare/warfare state. Ever since Woodrow Wilson and on through FDR, Truman, Kennedy, Johnson the Democrats proved themselves to be the war party. WWI and WWII - both Democrat wars. Korea and Vietnam too. After 9-11 Democrats bemoaned the fact that Bush instead of a Democrat could roll in the graft and glory of another war. Republicans were isolationists between the wars and when the isolationist wing of the Republicans was defeated by the co-opted "me too" country club Wall Street Republicans during the near fascist reign of FDR, Republicans joined the Democrats' warfare/welfare imperialist march.

Danno, I defy you to turn up ANY link of any video showing a Trump supporter committing any act of violence that is comparable to the viscious crime I first linked too. Did you even watch it?

My concern is not to defend Trump but to call out and to encourage universal condemnation of such hateful violence.
 
Really don't feel up to wallowing in the Trump-contaminated mud with you over this. Libertarians should have their own country where there are no taxes, no regulations and every person is a lonesome cowboy out on the prairie making his way all by himself. Unfortunately, for you at least, no such place exists on earth where there is more than one person within a thousand square miles. It must be nice to sit back and brand everyone who doesn't agree with your philosophy a Socialist out to take everything you've created all by yourself. That way you can absolve yourself of all responsibility for society's ills, confident in the knowledge that it's everyone else in the world who is screwed up and not you.

I hereby apologize for majority rule and all the other tenets of modern democracy, plus wanting to take all your stuff, since I am one of these "Socialists" you speak of.

Trump's campaign manager assaulted a protester. A Secret Service Agent assaulted a reporter who stepped over a piece of tape. A Trump supporter sucker punched a protester at a Trump rally. Apparently everyone has seen the videos but you. Is it really any surprise when things go the other way? Maybe if the Jews had reacted to the Nazis early on by beating the shit out of some of them, things would have turned out differently. At least they would have gone down fighting. But their fear of so-called 'authority" and their wish to be civil and calm froze them in their tracks until it was too late.

I don't need to post links to prove what I've seen and what I know, which is this; Trump is a rabble-rouser and a clown who will say anything on a given day to incite his supporters. What he doesn't seem to realize is that he's also inciting his detractors. Emotionally incited people tend to do stupid things, especially when stupid things have already been done by their opponents. I hope the Trump supporters and the Trump haters all beat the shit out of each other. Trump himself will never take responsibility for any of it, even though he is the cause. It's just more proof he's not mentally equipped to be President and the longer it goes on, the more people will think twice about voting for him. The Libertarians will all stay home and not vote at all, or vote for a Libertarian candidate nobody ever heard of, so they can take no responsibility regardless of who wins.

Boy Im an idiot for diving in here but today is a rainy here in New York and it is a Tavern!
The way I see it, quite soon, who are the two candidates for president will be known. Maybe there will be
a third or fourth choice but likely not.
Therefore we get to choose A or B and there you are.
A usual, it is not a huge difference in candidates. But there is some difference so you chose
or you stay home. Staying home keeps your hands clean but by not voting one of the candidates
profits.
Gee, it sure is pain, democracy and all that!

You asked for links, you got links. Not that I put any credence into those, but you apparently do. Two wrongs may not make a right, but the only thing a response to violence with anything other than violence has ever netted is unrelenting violence. Trumpers opened that door and should not complain when their opposition replies in kind. And self-righteous do-nothings can be outraged and call those they disagree with all the nasty political epithets their limited, repetitive vocabulary allows. You keep saying the same thing over and over as if it will gain credibility, but it just looks like buzzwords from a scared little person who hasn't had an original thought in years.
