hey I endorse flower power! but that's my generation. At one point my mom had a picture of me wearing a floral print shirt with puffy sleeves, and zebra striped hip hugger bell bottoms with the belt fastened on the side. I asked her why she let me dress like that, and she said, "You and all your friends dressed like that. That was the style!" We all dressed like mini Jimi Hendrix's... I wish I knew were that picture was...Perhaps we should talk more about VW's. I had a '70 bus in red and white. I have great stories about it. The clutch and and the gear shifter felt like rubber. The best thing it did was "merry go round" doughnuts in reverse gear in snowy parking lots. You just cut the wheel all the way and hit the gas and it was like the round up ride at a carnival.... It was so easy to work on, like a big lawn mower...
