Hi , my 73 750 MK5 signal orange Commando , came from Quincy Mi , most likely around the 11-8-19 , i swapped 8 and the 11 around for the USA members , it previously belonged to Clifford Henry Bowers the 3rd . it is now in New Zealand , but just thought it would be nice to find out some history on what might have been done . Cheers from NZ .

Quincy has a population under 2000 and those names came up in an obituary check including the son of a Clifford Bowers who passed away at 28 in 2019.

That's sad , 28 is too young to pass , wasn't really sure if someone from that area might have known the bike and been a forum member .. cheers

Clifford Henry Bowers address is online if you search it. (age 65 - Quincy, MI 49082) Perhaps the young man who passed away was his son.
You could write a letter like the old days or if you research the address you could probably find a phone number and phone him.

Its a small world.
As posted before, the seller name on the US title of my Mk2a was the same person on a Triumph TR5T Trophy Trail US title I still own and the TR5T was imported some years before I bought it and prior to buying the Norton.
Over 300m people in the USA, over 25m people in Australia.
I on individual transactions years apart (bought one US imported bike locally and one internationally) ended up with two bikes once owned by the same US citizen.

Based on the small Quincy population, the name and age of the above Clifford Bowers it may very well be the a person once associated with the OP Commando but you will never know unless you make the effort to find out.
