Cylinder boring California

I need to get the cylinders on my 850 bored and I am looking for any recommendations in the Southern California area. Western States work as well.

Phil Radford will bore them, check them for parallel (and fix if necessary).
He can fit new pistons and rings, too, if you need that. Top notch work and communication.

+1 for Q%E. They are very experienced, and do a lot or work for LA Sleeve. They are now into the third generation of being run by the same family. Years ago they did all the 920 sleeve conversions for iron 850 cylinders for Horsepower International (HPI), and Ron Wood used them for his big bore Rotax conversions.

I talked to them a while back about doing the 920 conversions again, and they said they could do it, but they would have to hunt up the information in their records on the custom sleeves they used. They said they might even have some of the sleeves left, but would have to hunt for them. I didn't pursue it any further. Much simpler to just buy the alloy 920 kit from Steve Maney.
