Cyclops LED

After reading this thread, I ordered the new 7000 lumen LED bulb from Cyclopes Adventure sports. My existing bulb was a halogen. After my initial install, I could not get the bulb to dim. I called up Cyclopes Adventure Sports and they quickly told me that since my bike was positive earth, I simply had to swap two wires on my H4 connector. After I swapped the high and low flag wire connections in the back or my H4 connector, the bulb would dim. The kit fit into the headlight assembly with absolutely no issues, and it is SUPER bright. Once the snow is gone here in Newfoundland, I can’t wait to focus the light and try it out.

gatsby, is your charging system 3 phase, as I was under the impression the 7000 LUMEN needed 3 phase to work properly?
Regards Mike

Gentlemen, just to clarify/reiterate, because (all) the headlamps use a ground/earth WIRE, and not the metal chassis, (save for position lamp) positive earth vintage bike usage is a NON ISSUE, easily overcome. Simply be sure the wires you provide are polarized correctly.

Hi Gatsby,

I realize this is an old thread - hopefully you are still on the go with Access Norton. It looks like your green hi beam indicator is on in both high and low positions with the LED. Is that the case? Is your

Hi Gatsby,

I realize that this is an old thread - hopefully you are still on the go with Access Norton. In your photos it looks like your green hi-beam indicator is on in both positions with the LED. Is that the case? Any issue with your warning light assimilator with the LED installed? Also, I'm in Newfoundland too :). Thanks,

J

I saw “on the go”, and I knew you were from NL haha!
It stays on whenever the headlight is on. Electrical is my weak point, and I always thought that the green light was just to indicate that the headlight was on. I’ll shoot you a DM with my contact info. Would love to connect. I’m in St. John’s.

Gatsby.
