So subject to second waves, getting out of work, cancellations and successfully awakening the mighty short stroke 750 from its slumber, I hope to be at this meet. Paid my entry fee, number 71 in the Classic Formula 750. The other project is still ongoing, just slowly (dommi seeley mk4), however the 750 Commando was a goer when I put it to bed last year. Anyone else racing or spectating let me know and I will come say hello.

Hi Steve's
Wont be there mate (shielding). It was one of my bucket list meetings this year! Cadwell in the summer. Fantastic circuit.
I hope it goes well but seems to be born out of Msv charging us for the hire come what may. Poor on their part to hold us to a contract in these times while taking our contracted Donington dates for Bsb. Going back a few years since we did practise Saturday racing Sunday. Fortunate the camping rules got relaxed in time.
Have a good meeting, blow out the cobwebs.

I looked at doing this but I am not sure there will be overnight stays allowed, plus they have warned the marshals may not be so hands on in the event of inspecting the scenery and to expect more red flags. I hear the CRMC struggle to get through al the race card anyway so it has put me off.

Having said that I am going to Cadwell tomorrow and will be asking about the overnight stay situation whilst there.

If spectators are allowed, i will come and spectate so might see you there.

Just spoke to a Cadwell employee and she say overnight stay is for competitors and crew only, which is good enough, spectators are allowed but cannot stay overnight, I may have a run over on Sunday.

Blimey, that’s almost sensible. Could this mark the beginning of the slow return of common sense...

The rest of the setup is quite sensible too, one way system through the cafe, in one door and out of another, signing on was in the cafe as there is more room, hand sanitizer scattered about all over the place, supposed to be 4 meters between vehicles But that isn’t practical at this track day and would be unworkable at a race meeting, they would run out of room. No more than 3 people At a time in the toilet. Quite well organised.
