I dragged the cover off my Indian Enfield 500 yesterday after it had sat outside for around 10 months
The battery was completely flat the fuel smelt really stale
Turned the fuel on and the micarb was pissing fuel so I hit that with a screwdriver until it stopped
I gave it a kick with my left foot as my right is out of action
And on the second kick it fired right up with a perfect tickover and revved out fine
I was thinking I'd at least need to charge the battery and drain the old fuel , maybe clean the carb !!!!

Maybe so Baz , sadly that day passed with the concern with the air we breath and emissions controls ….

Lets hope that motorcycles don't go the way as many automobile manufactures are.
If a farmer needs work done on his modern JD tractor he has to get it to the dealer or have a mechanic come out to the field and repair it. JD doesn't allow access to their computer programs so the farmer can't fix his own equipment!
Just read that some automobile manufacturers are considering charging by the month for some features such as remote entry or heated seats. You pay the fee they turn it on. Not my idea of a fun time.
