Cool Ducati

'Racing improves the breed', but why do we need a better one ? Fast enough is fast enough for anyone. Bur personally I don't like single-make race classes.

One of the reasons retro type bikes sell down here ( assuming) is the open road speed limits in all the States are in the 100 kmh (62 mph) and 110 kmh (68 mph) range, perhaps partly due to poor driving skills (Its for your own good)

A lot of the modern vehicle performance seems to now be a case of all dressed up and nowhere to go.

Reading that Multistrada specification list seems to reinforce you can go to far and forget what the initial or base purpose of the bike was.
Another overpowered barge (240 kg (529 lb) a̶d̶v̶e̶n̶t̶u̶r̶e̶ road bike with to many gadgets.

Next year will be the last year for the Suzuki DR650SE in Australia ( 1996 to 2021) due to it not having ABS.

Didn't know there was a Multistrada spec class anywhere.

Ditching the Rube Goldberg-inspired desmo valve gear is the wisest move they've made since marketing the 851 Superbike. It's just not necessary to achieve high rpm anymore.

True , but there goes the Ducati cachet ... the valve train set them apart ... my riding certainly never benefited from the Desmo system , just not that fast ,ever actually, not sure I saw more than 7k on tach , on any ride ....
