I like the look of the one inch bars compared to our 7/8 inch bars.

Anyone know if our throttle will slip on and work on a one inch bar, or is this an obvious "no" answer?

If no, anyone sell a throttle that would work on a one inch, and are any of you now running one inch bars and if so what modifications did you have to do?

thanks!

Just wrap siver tape around your bars until it is 1" dia.
Won't have to change anything then.

Will definitely have to shop the Harley and Metric cruiser catalogs for switch gear, which ain't a bad thing in my mind, just on expen$ive side, which I also condone in pleasing one's self on their own ride. I've seen bars welded up with 7/8" center mount section and 1" from there out. Otherwise new mounts on forks needed. Which way you think you'd do it?

Here one inch drag bars and risers

Try looking at the 2009---up Triumph Thruxtons. They changed from 7/8 to 1 inch---also you could use the throttle--maybe the whole enchilada. \\\\\BUT////
the handle bar mounting would be the part to worry about---not much meat there on the upper clamp--but could fabricate some new ones maybe---then carefully grind out the lower mount until you achieve a good fit.
Several different vendors sell different configured handlebars to fit. Low rise--med rise etc.---Super bike bars.-----To get a good idea of how they would work--just get a section of copper tubing and bend to get the rise and pull back that seems to be comfortable to you--then measure the results and get the bars that are closest to these measurements.
