Hi
I will tell you a little sunshine story.
I bought new exhost pipes from Commando Specialties in Plymouth. I mounted my new tube and started the bike. Then a blister / vabble grew up in one tube. I was quite angry and sour. New pipes impotert to Norway from the U.S., and this happens.
I took some pictures of vabbelene and sent them to Duane in the Commando special ties, and explained what had happened. I got two choices I could get my money back, or I could get a new tube.
I chose to have a new pipe.
Today, after two weeks , I got my new pipe at the post office, not even paid for shipping.
Vidar.

Thanks for the report, I've also saved with Commando Specialties parts. Wonder what went wrong to bulge a header. Hope they last a decade now.

I have dealt with Commando Specialties and I am well pleased with their products to date.

Can't say I have had any such issues as yourself ~ but always good to hear about such professionalism ~

Ditto here. Had a positive shopping expierence :D last week with Commando Specialties. Bought an oil filter kit & repro headlamp shell separate instead of doing the cart option which was my fault and the shipping was high. Contacted Duane and he gave me a combined shipping price cheaper than just buying the oil filter kit alone for shipping cost. Nothing but quick & good communication. Repeat customer here.

Illustrates another of the benefits of being a forum member.
Positive comments by members supports the quality vendors and helps them stay in business and negative comments can weed out the not so quality vendors.
Before the internet there was no way you could have a fellow in Norway comment on service from an American company and be supported by others half a world away.
I also have had good service and products from CS.

Pretty funny coincidence, I logged on 30 min ago to look at exhaust clamp options for the new CS roadster pipe kit I purchased and should be enroute as I type. Reading the posts on this forum as well as a few others Triumph ones etc show that people not just in the Norton community but Triumph too are happy with CS service and products. I am definitely looking forward to getting my kit!

I will try and post up a pic or two of the install, I always tell myself I am going to share more online but I never get a "round tuit".

I have purchased several items from Commando Specialties. I have found them to be professional and willing to stand behind their products with a replacement or return, with basically no questions asked. That said, when I had questions, they offered only basic information. If you wish or need detailed advice or instruction, the more "complete service" sites may be your cup of tea.

when i lived in mass. i used to go down and see duane and jamie.i bought almost all my parts for my 72 commando from them.great people to talk to and to deal with.
number one in my book.

I purchased my seamless peashooters from CS last summer after my Emgo mufflers cracked at the weld joint. Fast, fast shipping, gorgeous chrome finish still perfect after 3000 miles...a little Turtle Wax Chrome Polish keeps them mirror-like...perfect fit and great price.

I have purchased several item from them thru their ebay store. Always fast and friendly. Another one of the good ones.
