commando alternator wire length?

I've got an alternator with wire cut off mid travel, can any one give me the original length so I can repair?

Can you not offer up some wire and work it out. On my bike bullet connectors are just under battery box.

$100 Doug. If it's cut off mid way then just double the length. That said my 73 850 has about a 9 inch tail. I'm not sure if your '70 750 would be the same.

I had the primary off today and took an actual measurement. 11.9 inches
