Red one’s are fastest Chris.

Dresda’s tend to look good in trad black / silver too. But red would go well with the nickel frame. And be faster.

Burgundy is good for curtains and traction engines.

Orange just shouldn’t be allowed. Unless it’s a Jota.

Phil Godfree Phil Davenport bike

I think black would work especially if I can get the Dresda stickers in silver.
What about breaking up the Seeley fairing? Ie not all solid colour

Dresda used to use that same style ‘Old English’ font as Anglo Bike, so getting ‘Dresda Trident’ done in that would definitely look both good and period correct.

The silver Dresda stickers in my pic above were done by a local sticker / sign maker.

If you look around in your locality you’ll find vinyl sticker makers. They just laser cut to your design from a sheet.

I just got these done locally, I tried to copy the Minnovation colour and font, didn’t quite succeed but “it’ll be reet yewth” !

Brown suede tassled seat is out of shot in this photo sadly…

O.E.M. colours ?? Reds probably like B R G . a multitude . BASE & Pre Colours , Burgundy under metralic blue got me purple , but had gold , thin , over the burgundy .
So , in sunlight , its FAR OUT . Or multitudeinous , phychadelic almost perhaps . and Things . try on a piece of cardboard ( shiny ) . grab all the dicount duplicvolours,
aND DONT FORGET YOUVE LEFT THEMM IN THEB POT TO BOIL . Pre Heatr everything to 20 / 25 c. Mate .

63 / 64 ford corsair 1500 had a deep Burgundy . with lime green interior . To Match . you could do the seat brown . But I Wouldnt ! .

Id think TRUE PERIOD COLOURS ( 1960s ) would be The go . asin the paint codes / mix .

That's the colour I was thinking about Matt. I've gone through British Racing Green, the dark nearly black one. Black still sounds good. Going to see if I can photo shop a few colours on to my photo.

So you want REAL COLOURS . Base - Light ? SILVER is used to hide & show flaws , as primary base coat . Then something like gold .
Even coat of Met. scarlet ( 2 light ) then evenish ( 2 light ) Met Blue , wll get far out and groovey multi faceted in varying light . IF
you did ( say ) outline a bit heavier , in one , itd ' go there ' in bright light . So covert pin stripes or whatever UNDER the top colour coat .
ETC.
Aston once did seven coats around appatures & hard wear areas , Hard Edges wear earlier , polishing & ' cut & polishing . So THIN COLOURS .
A lot . Model A/C , CLEAR is thinned 3 : 1 , and a coat a day , 3/4 gallon total . about 20 coats . and youve gt DEPTH .

This bloke's very good about prattling on about ' fish eye killer ' and can paint in the snow .

If you use dual swaybars , 6 inch lotus rims , decent shocks & a Late V 4 with headers ( Boyer T 120 spec. ) and dual pipes , Jim Clarke
wouldnt stand a chance , with this . Theyll deal to a Lotus hacktually . As well as towing trucks out of ditches . Bit of room under the arches.
Would take 225 & 245 tyres . ( They flogged the brakes & box etc for the Lotus from the GT / 2000 E - which has a better a xle assembly .

To rub it in , and digress further .

But a late V4 has more tourque , and as much horse ,& is back & lower thus better weight distribution & transfer . Specially if you dual carbed it .
Falco 4.1 Litre Radiator bolts straight in . Which only leaves the full length oil pump shaft . & a bigger sump . Unless you move the engine back 3 1/2 inch . With stock parts .

A Horse of a differant colour .

Black But! The fella that's going to paint it wants to try a bit of computer design on it when he gets back from his hols. Bit to much flat area on the Seeley fairing for him. Me I'm looking at transfers maybe putting a wedge/stripe there, Dresda on the tank. Detail in silver?
