Hi Tony , yes thanks,sent a copy to everyone I met that helped me along the way,the article only a very brief account of trip , but would recommend doing it to everyone ,particularly Canada,often overlooked in favour of the States,& even though it took 4 months to get the bike back it was worth it.
Of course it makes u wanna do it all again, so that may be an option next year again,I'm doing a week in the Pyrenees next July with "globe trotter biker Nick Sanders "( google him ,he been around the world several times,inc on an R1 in like 3 weeks ) ,along with a bunch of other bike travellers .
& finally I found this paragraph on twitter the other day,think it applies to a few of us
