cNw and 961

Simon,

I was considering changing the headlight shell for the new metal units.
What do the 2 different part numbers represent?

Thank you for everyone's support. Would have happened earlier but with the NC bike accident things got delayed. All back up and running now. we have a lot more to offer than available now but need to fully prove out prototype items before putting into production. And a SPECIAL THANKS TO JOHN (G81 CAN CYCLE) for introducing us and helping me when I was by myself at the rally after the accident. He did not hesitate to take time out of his vacation to drive me to the hospital a few times and to get the U-HAUL. I felt like I was annoying him but he still talks to me so thanks John for everything.

Richard

No thanks are necessary. I felt a little responsible for the accident, I am the one that lead Dave and you into that corner.

I am glad you and Matt at CNW are getting together. CNW wants to get into the 961 market, and I think handling the One 07 tools will be a great way to start. Matt is a great guy, as you are, and I think it will be good for all, including the consumer. And you never know, after racing my 2015 SF for a couple of years, I may send it to Matt for his first 961 donor bike to do a 961 CNW build.

Looking forward to Dave and you visiting the shop sometime in the near future.

John

The first part number is for the headlight and the second is for a spacer of which you will require two of.

Big day at Special Tool Solutions in Jacksonville. Matt Rambow (CNW President) and Dave Coote (Richard 7's father) are here to do training on the upgrade kits offered by One-07 (107 which is Dave's 961 SE serial number) and sold through CNW

Matt is getting a 2 day training session on installation of all the upgrade kits, and an great overview of problems on the 961 and how to solve the issues.

I think it will be great to have Matt handling the One-07 tooling, And, Dave and Richard have done a great job making up the kits with instructions that will be downloadable from the CNW site.

They upgraded two bikes, non stop work for two days. Complete upgrades to both bikes from pinning the Ring Gear to new coils, to torquing the heads to adding the Trans Vents.... etc, etc,

Did you take any of the bikes out today John?

What One 07 and Matt at CNW are doing are wonderful. I positively need that vent kit. That red one......oy.....I waited and waited for it to arrive at Gold Coast, because that is what I ordered, but got impatient and took the 2013 black mono sport. No regrets, but dang, I love looking at that red biposto.

Fantastic work all round guys, I'm loving what your doing. For me many of the suggestions sound super tasty. I'm +1 for:

*Any type of adjustable rear set to help my 52yr hips breath a little better is great.
*More comfy seat, maybe 1/2" higher to aid the hips as well
*saddle bags Richard mentioned may be in the works definitely
*all go fast performance upgrades of course

Thanks guys

Thank you. We are actually working on Rear Sets as I type.... You should Look up Mark McLennan in your area. Great guy! Met him at the INOA Rally 2015. He flew over.

Hi all,

Just an update to let everyone know that we are now up and running with the new parts section for the 961's on the cNw website

http://coloradonortonworks.com/part-cat ... -machines/

Relatively small section initially but as more items become available it will certainly grow

Don't hesitate to let us know what you would like to see developed for the 961's in the future.

Thanks for all the encouragement and positive feedback

Hello Matt, Your Norton 961 parts and tools section is looking good !

If you're on my email list I sent this out this morning. Just wanted to share it here too..

Good Morning;

Today is a great day for all 961 Owners. Colorado Norton Works has a new section on their website with tools and accessories for the modern Norton Motorcycles and this section is now open for business.

The list is currently small but all the essentials are there like the tools needed to work on the bikes at home. There is also a very handy MANUALS Section where anyone can easily review or Download the manuals for free. The instructions for the tools are basically the MANUALS. We are working on more tools and accessories and so is CNW. If I can suggest anything, grab a Transmission Vent, a Bosch Coil and some Plug Wires for Christmas.

More Manuals and Tools are in the works, as well as replacement consumable parts like clutch plates and oil filters so stay tuned.
