Climate change and AI

Artificial intelligence can provise a greater level of certainty through pattern recognitiion. When you consider climate change there are several variables which deremine cause and effect. Between them they construct a pattern. Considerring only one or two vareiables in such a situation can be misleading. Some people seem to be afraid of AI, however it is just another usefful computer tool which can be used for good or evil when used to achieve control. My worry is AI might have arrived too late.

My worry is the AI has baked in bias from its creators.

An AI-generated hoax of an explosion at the Pentagon went viral online — and markets briefly dipped.

An apparently AI-generated photo faking an explosion near the Pentagon in D.C. went viral on social media.

The Arlington PD confirmed the image and accompanying reports were fake.

But when the news was shared by a reputable Twitter account on Monday morning, the market briefly dipped.
