Chrome Solutions

Its been tired by some on this forum for only average results after taking due care, not chrome like. Please try it and get back to us as I've got a mental emotional block to spend on a new chain guard that's not really beat up just flaked off chrome.
Here's example of another similar paint that covers what ya may end up with. Maybe a really thick application that's sanded back smooth clean then deep clear coat to smooth out.

I've not used it but my gut feeling is this spray-on is probably suitable for less severe service yet I read somewhere that Chrome Solutions is used extensively for auto wheels.

Very interested in this topic. I have a scrambler tank that needs re chroming.
But I've seen tanks end up with lacework holes from being acid dipped during chroming, and its too expensive here.
I'll try this process in 6 months or so.
It sure looks good on the web,

Graeme

Not the same products as my original post - apples to orangutangs

DUH and I stated such in my post and repeat the alerts that have been reported here of Norton owners trying the very same brand Chrome Solutions that impressed Leno yet it came out with similar fualts as shown in similar to but not identical with "chrome Solution" paint that I could find any references too. I want a chrome paint that looks mostly like chrome myself but not it if its its own eye sore then would rather just color paint it, like my ugly but intact chain guard. Try some and get back to us please.

tired a deeper search to find this but no Chrome Solution results so far.

Steve, you are confusing things here. So is that a double DUH?

The first link you gave was to a review of "Killa Chrome". No mention of the ChromeSolutions product.

The second link is to an earlier thread in this forum where they discuss ChromeSolutions product yet nobody has experience with it, only a mention of someone using powder coated 'chrome', and they state it is not chrome like .

So where are the "alerts that have been reported here of Norton owners trying the very same brand Chrome Solutions"?????????

If this has been tried and reported on in this forum, my apologies to the forum but from what I can tell nobody has reported using it on this forum and "Killa Chrome" is not Chrome Solutions.

Fair enough then. I could not find complaints online on Chrome Solutions just seems I remember it didn't work out so perfectly for some here. I'm not saying don't try it - I encourage it and may myself, but I only expect some what nicer than the greyish Al silver spray or the other chrome like sprays such as modelers use. Rusted spokes come to mind too.
