Chainguard snapping

Have you lost it altogether or is it just broken?
Mine broke at the the front mount but i still had all the parts. It has been welded up and reinforced with a second thickness of metal at both mounts and so far so good. Have done more miles after the fix than before.

Resurrecting this thread because I just lost the chain guard on my 2014 Sport. Snapped of at the front support, right at the bend. Rear rubber insert style fastener just pulled out. Only a hole left there.

Anyone know of a replacement source, plastic, metal, or CF? Guess I should have bought the CF item when it was still available.:(

If not, I guess it's fabrication time again.

Now, someone posted the name of the supplier of carbon parts to Norton, I will try and track it but hopefully someone will post it first. I think Fast Eddie or MX Martin maybe the ones with the answer. Mine broke at 900 miles, flapping around like crazy and could have jammed up the wheel. Carbon Fibre one fitted and no issues since

Unfortunately, mine is lying at the side of the road somewhere. All that is left is the small triangular tab at the front. I'm still riding the bike, but I would like to eventually have a chain guard again, of only to save on the cleaning effort.

Bother. I much prefer the look of the steel ones, a pity they are so delicate.

Sure thing, Tony. Can you post a link to their on-line shopping site, or contact info for their parts department?

No mention of spares availability from them yet. But I have sent an inquiry, just in case. It would be really great if they put some priority on getting the parts department operational again. That would seem to be an easy and quick way for them to bring in some income.
