Chain wear/ stretch

I've got a 1971 Triumph ( and Commando) Removed rear chain and found 6 mm stretch. Compressed 1676 mm, stretched 1682 mm. .3% stretch. Trying to see if this is considered worn out. New chain measures 1676 mm. Should I save it for shop use or re-lube and re-use?

I thought (without a pin distance measurement ) the check was on the rear sprocket and trying to lift the links or the banana sideways check.

Stretching is good for cats. It's wear plain and simple. I use worn chain to draw the fresh new chain over the front sprocket. After observing it for wear with a shop light too.
