Hi!

I got some Mikuni RS34 carburetors on my Commando and got manifolds from Mikunioz from Australia.
[real great quality manifolds! Have a look at mikunioz.com!!!!]

I am searching for a carburetor mounting rubber [hose] material that is sold by the meter to cut it in different lengths for tests…..
Because the distance between my carburetors and cylinderhead is little.

Works ok but i think I will gain more low end power when i put a longer rubber between manifolds and carburetors.

I found a oil-hose at my local dealer that got

the required 40mm ID……heat-range is up to 100°C.

So here are my questions to you:

Do you think i can use this hose? [i am in doubt because of the heat range….]

Which hose to you use?!? And where can i get some?

Use of straight radiator hose was common here on flat track bikes with big carbs. I've used it on race bikes. Typically EPDM synthetic, but also available in silicone. Sized here in the US in 1/4" increments, i.e. 1 1/2", 1 3/4", but might be available in metric sizes elsewhere. Common brands are Gates, Dayco, Goodyear, etc. They all say not to be used for fuel transfer, but it works just fine for air/fuel mixture from carbs.
