Caliper bleed nipple

What size wrench fits the caliper bleed nipple on a MKIII?
USA 1/4 & 3/16.... And 6mm or 7 mm are too small or too big.

Thanks for any help.

1/4 USA fits the pre Mk 3 bleed nipple. (although not a brilliant fit).
The size wouldn't have changed for the Mk 3 ?

Its not just beaten up a bit, and hex corners worn off/gone undersize ??

No, it is in good shape. The 1/4 is just a little loose....and it will chew up the nipple as it doesn't want to come out easily.

tap the end of the nipple with a hammer while attempting to turn it. Use a six sided ring spanner or socket rather than a 12 sided one.
It will come loose

I just checked the bleeder on my Norton's brake caliper and discovered that a number 4BA socket fits perfectly.

Thanks guys. I appreciate the help. I got it out by using heat (map gas torch).
