It was known at the time as "the poor man's Rolls Royce." The Brough Superior car was definitely the vehicle to have at the end of the 1930s.

Weren't they known for many years as badly re-engineered Hudsons?

It seems their rarity, and link to 1/4 Million £ motorcycles is driving the price up these days.
