First time post for me... I have a 2014 Commando 961 that I picked up with 5K miles. I've put a bit more than 1K miles and am in need of a rebuild kit for the front brake master cylinder. While I'm at it, I'm inclined to rebuild the calipers and the clutch master cylinder too. Can you point me to a source for the rebuild kits and what to ask for? I don't see part numbers for these items in the shop manuals that came with the bike. Many thanks in advance for any and all assistance.

Welcome dbcjmc. I'm sure somebody closer to you will have a better idea, but obviously a Brembo dealer or failing that I'm pretty sure a Ducati dealer could help. Why do they need changing though ?

Brembo do not like producing rebuild kits, quoting product liability as the excuse. However certain manufacturers take this liability on themselves, KTM are one of these. So find the KTM bikes that used the same parts and buy the rebuild kits from a KTM parts stockist.

Thanks Kommando. So..... stupid question. I don't see any part numbers on the master cylinder or calipers.
Can anyone shout out the correct size or KTM cross reference? I do see Brembo rebuild kits for sale but don't know which ones to get.

The Bevel Heaven website also does Brembo kits, i dont know enought to say whether they cover this case though.

Don't have a 961, what I did for my P3034 Gold line calipers is look for bike usage charts and find the KTM usage by model and year. But first you have to find the Brembo product name.

I had trouble getting a kit thirty years ago for this very reason.
Said that I might put the seals in the wrong way round!! Doh
