I recently bought a new blinker warning light and it works perfectly with one side blinker but doesn’t work when the other side is on. For example, when the right blinker is on the indicator light flashes perfectly, but when I turn the left one on, there is no flashing indicator light, but the blinkers all work. Anyone know how to fix this?

Did you use an LED bulb? They are polarity sensitive, only work with the current going one direction.

Yes, if LED then it could need a tweaker (or two diodes in parallel) connected to one bulb contact and the other bulb connection to ground with the correct bulb polarity.

LEDs make the indicators work like 4-way flashers unless the tweaker is wired between the two leads and the warning light. My guess is that one side is not wired to the warning light. Perhaps one wire has been hooked to ground?

It can happen without the tweaker etc. if the warning light is LED but the indicators have standard filament bulbs.
