Bike building Help in Dorset

Hi Guys - is there anyone on here in Dorset that could assist me in building my bike with me or for me? so I have a slim line frame and I have a really nice 500cc single engine to put in it. ideally id like to end up with a Manx lookalike.

It's a bit of a swim across that pesky pond for me, but we can all help from afar!

Once you get rolling in earnest, you really ought to combine your forum threads so your project doesn't get lost.

Oh, you're quite likely not to make any friends UNLESS YOU POST PICTURES!!!!

Jason, not Dorset I know, but hardly a million miles away, and the best track record for bikes like you’re wanting to build in the business !

We’ll let you off a bit as you’re new here… but we have strict rules here… mainly that we need LOTS of details ie what’s this really nice engine you’re using? And we need LOTS of pictures (dead easy if you become a VIP and is HIGHLY recommended if you’re embarking on a journey like this).

that’s going to cost. Have you any idea what the budget is? my recent similar build cost over £7k just for components…..

That’s true, a full ‘turn key’ build will cost a lot… done anywhere !

I’d suggest Jason talks to someone knowledgeable and gets the big, difficult jobs done and does the finishing of himself, if that’s what he wants to do.
