Shop has been very busy this year. I was racing a new 961 last year, but it was not competitive in the class it was assigned to. So I went a different direction this year. I talked to Kenny Cummings about a Bears bike. He said sure I then talked to Jim Comstock about a fire breathing engine, and he said of course.
Kenny wrote this about the bike:
A bit about the Seeley Commando, built to John Snead's spec by NYC Norton:
Roger Titshmarsh Seeley MK2 Replica chassis fabbed from Renold 531 tubing. (Motor details separate). TTI Magnesium 5-Speed Close Ratio Gearbox, Keihin CR35mm carbs, custom stainless 2-into-1 exhaust, modified and lightened Commando clutch, Triumph T140 Billet rear hub with cush drive. Production Racer front hub with 11.5" drilled disks and full compliment of sprockets. NYC Norton lightweight yokes, Roadholder forks with Cosentino shim-stack internals. Seeley MK2 Tanks and MK4 seat. Kirby Fairing. Avon tires. NYC Norton rearsets. Bike weighs ~295lbs dry. It is the sister bike to NYC Norton's 4x championship winning Seeley Commando.
I will let Jim add his comments (but to start it has billet cases, Fullauto Head, and Jim can expand)
Great work from both guys.
Here are some pics
