After a long search I have finally found intake guide seals banded on top and bottom so they seal and stay tight but go on by hand - no tooling needed. 5/16 ID x 5/8" OD for 1/2" guides

There are other red viton seals available without the top band and there are other blue viton seals that require an installation tool and are a little bigger on the OD (maybe too big). But these seem to have all the qualifications and aren't as oil restrictive to your valve stems as tool installed teflon seals are.

Stock valve springs have .700 ID so there is not a lot of clearance and I haven't tested them with stock springs. So far I have only fitted them up with Beehive springs. Anyone adventurous enough to try them on stock springs?

They really do look like the perfect fit. I might be in a position to try them this coming summer, thx for the info on these.

So far the dimensions are looking good. The New banded seals as in the photo above have a height of .480" and an OD of .620" compared to other available non banded seals with .470" height and .535" OD.

Using the non banded viton from Kibblewhite, they seem to have no problem limiting oil getting down the guides. In fact, if anything I wonder if they keep them a bit too dry.

where can we get them? Do you have a link? Thanks
I just put them on my products page here:

With stock springs they have .040" clearance all the way around. With Beehive springs they have more clearance.
