Ballast resistor and condenser pack with electronic Boyer

Hey guys

I found many threads about replacing the original points with electronic. I did install a new Boyer kit.

I am rewiring the Norton. Do I need to put the condenser and ballast or the electronic Boyer remplaces them.

no condensers or ballast resistor.

Condenser and ballast resistor are removed.

It is also important to make sure that you change the way your coils are wired.
Your Boyer Bransden electronic ignition is wasted spark, which means both coils fire together at the same time.

The kit should have the instructions on what to do I think the black box also has how to connect it up on it, well my old Boyar EI did.

You should also be using 2 6volt coils

Yes , look for very small stampings saying 6 or 12 V.

if it has the ballast resistor it has 6 volt coils.

i think my coils are 6 volts.
