An S1 Buell almost gets there. It has a half decent frame, but the rest of the Buells are garbage - really bloody ugly. A Harris frame would be better. Some Americans need their heads read. They seem to fall over their own feet because of national pride. There is no shame in using a British racing frame for an American motorcycle - they are the best. I really like that Harley Sportster motor, it is just waiting for a decent frame and decent gear ratios. When you fit a five speed gearbox to a motor, you don't make top gear an over-drive. Make up your mind - a sportster motor is not really suited for cruising down endless freeways. If you want to do that, you simply raise the overall gearing, but keep the box close ratio.
