£19500 is a lot of dosh for a Norton Badge, Now a 1098 ducati for £9000 with 2k on the clock sounds cheap compared... thats with Extras,
My friend as been waiting for a Duel seat version of the New norton for 12 months, and he as put up a deposit at that!
Call me old , but after seeing them at Stafford Show....they dont do much for me, but have a look at the Duke stand...lovely!

No, I've never seen a 961 Norton in the wild and don't expect I ever will. But I think a Duck in the wild is just as good if not better:

And previously I had these:

They were a lot of fun, but the GT is a much better all-around bike. I would imagine the 961 would be pretty similar, but over here they're just vaporware.

interestingly I read somewhere that the 961 feels and sounds a bit like a Ducati due to the 270 crank. FWIW have a Monster myself and made it a good all rounder by changing the seat and handlebars....though still ride the Norton waaay more :D

Read an article in the May 2011 issue of Rider magazine, it mentioned the arrival of the new Norton's to the US this May.

Got any photos?

I've seen three over the last 4 or 5 years, all at NOC events. Looking forward to 'meeting' one on the road to see how well they go, or don't as the case may be. Will obviously depend on riders enthusiasm. For photo's there the same as in the brochures.
