Never heard of keystone rings before. Whats the idea behind them, ie what’s the benefit over normal rings ?
I assume the ring lands should be a matching keystone shape? What’s you gonna do with yours now?
I’ve been Googling and apparently those rings have been used as the top ring in diesels and don’t readily stick in the (matching shaped) groove.Gases push the rings against the wall with ‘normal’ rings tho. So in what way are the keystone rings better?
But more to the point, what are you gonna do with these miss-matched pistons and rings that you now have ?
Tapered rings will surely hammer the f**k out of those none compatible ring lands …
