I'm looking for comments & info regarding the P/N 06.7335 engine stand.

Heavy Twin Engine Stand

Is it made from aluminum or steel? Is it stable when torquing fasteners? Are you happy with the purchase? How does it compare to other products on the market?

NB; unless it's clamped down, no engine stand is going to be immovable when you torque the head nuts/bolts.

It's steel. I like mine. I put it on this: Amazon product ASIN B07FH72BRV
Makes it easy to spin around as you work. I have no trouble torqueing but don't rely on the stand to hold it in place as evidenced by the rotating platform.

Since it is a limited use item (knock wood) I made one out of...wood. Scraps of walnut t&g flooring, 2x4 and ply. Can clamp it to bench.

Most of those belong to a rolling chassis.
2 garden gate- My 52 model 7 close to all the rest of the other nortons put together.
4 slimline
17commando (two series 1) (four MKIII) four totally free, some incomplete baskets
Makes great variety of NHT research material.
Yet my three rubber duckies (ducati) far more money than all the nortons put together

Well I guess I'm too cheap, I just use the rear trans cradle and if needed a block of wood in the front to keep it stable if needed..

Welded this together a couple of years ago, easy to clamp on the bench.

I picked up one of these "spinners". Unfotunately the builder is long gone.

I have one of those "spinners" too. Not sure where I bought it from or when (had to have been within the last 10 years though).
