amal premier concentrics and old style tricklers

Such a poser of a question but can the premier concentrics be reverted back to the old style of ticklers?
I am trying to locate a decent set of original amals but so far all are really beyond resonable repair efforts. I am tempted to buy a set of premiers but would miss the novelty of having gas leak all over my hands and engine cases.

Are you asking if you can put the short style ticklers on the new Premiers? If so, I don't see why not as you can put the long style ('73 and later) to the older bodies. Both old style Amal Mk1 and Premiers take the same tickler kit. However, I don't know if you can still buy short style ticklers.
 
soooo let me get this straight.You want the short ones....just to have the stinkie finger??? :roll: Is this for Concourse brownie points or the auto eau de chanel number 6(please correct my french) whiff as you pass your co workers in the morning??? :mrgreen:
