Amal Concentric adjuster thread size.

The throttle and cable adjusters that thread into the carburettor top cap seem to have a 7/32"- 40 TPI thread, a google search came up with a ME and UN thread which doesn't sound very British.
BSF stopped well before 40 TPI for that diameter.

I was hoping to get the correct tap tomorrow (Friday)

ME, (Model Engineer) not ASME (there are no 'American' threads on Amal Concentrics).

Thanks for the replies, it looks like that ME tap would be a mail order so will make something metric.

The Amal ME thread cable adjusters are in a cabinet draw with the top caps.
M5 is close enough being close to 32 TPI.

Titanium for the gantry pull rod shaft.

The tap wench (England) is probably older than the Commando.
