While my Premier 932 carbs were dismantled for examination and cleaning, I noticed that the tickler on one of the carbs extends further into the carb bowl than the other. The tickler in question extends 0.0595” further than the other. Not a lot but visually noticeable. I’m not sure if this is even an issue that needs to be addressed or something that is not unusual.

You can alter the distance by either pressing in or pulling out the pin from the tickler button.

Thanks very much for the reply. Interesting article. I’m still wondering though if the fact that one tickler extends into the float bowl more than the other is really an issue that requires addressing or if this might be a case where things are better off left alone. My father always used to say, “If it ain’t broke, don’t fix it.”

If the longer one is not in contact, pressing down on float causing it to hold the fuel needle valve off its seat, then not a concern. Unless you are having troubles pushing one tickler the 0.0595" further down ;-)

Both ticklers retract fully when released so I think I’m OK to leave them as they are as LAB suggested. Thanks.
