air filter and PWK

I haven't a clue on how to search this but someone on here fitted the ham can cage to the JS Pwk's using the stock parts. Only the perforated cage need to be cut to fit the new filter which was thinner than stock.
I would like the part# for the filter if someone remembers it. I have the K&N site
My pods that came with them just fell apart and the bulkiness of the stock unit is cool.

Is there a tutorial/sticky on how to search this forum? I really suck at it.

Have look at RGM Motors web site they used to list a thinner gauze for air filter. Don't know if it's what you need though as a have Amals not your carbs also I cut the battery tray front edge off and welded it back on 4mm further back. This improved clearance but if you go much more you have problems with the two tags with captive nuts on the filter back plate fowling the frame.
